Kebab Kid

Hands down, some of the best quality meat around. A regular customer for over 15 years. You’ll see people complaining in the reviews about size or price. Truth is, if you prefer massive portions of greasy, low-quality meat, then yeah, go somewhere else.

After hearing Jamie Oliver recommend Kebab Kid, I had to give it a try and it didn’t disappoint. Fresh ingredients, generous portions and great flavour throughout. Easy to see why it gets so much praise.

While I visit this establishment infrequently due to its pricing, I consistently find the kebabs to be exceptionally flavorful, featuring high-quality, fresh meat. The extended operating hours, particularly on weekends, are also a notable advantage, and the business has maintained its presence for a considerable duration.

Ask for the vinegar first, then the salt and leave the bag open so they don’t get soggy • Falafel ‘kebab’. A misnomer as it’s not really a kebab but nevertheless delicious. This is Indonesian in style and not like the Arabic version with a crispy outside. These are greener and despite being deep fried seem healthier. • I’m told the shawarma is very good. • Immaculately clean What I didn’t like: • Cash only so not ideal if you’re not carrying • Not the friendliest bunch working there and never seem grateful for your business. Like you’re an inconvenience. • The standard portion sizes are not particularly generous • Very sterile atmosphere but this can be viewed in the alternative that it’s spotlessly clean as mentioned above.
